Sommitelmia-sarja on kesäkuussa 2010 vasta aluillaan, mutta muita valmiita teoksia tulee myöhemmin nähtäväksi Kuvagalleriaan. Teos oli näytteillä Helsingin Taiteilijaseuran kesänäyttelyssä Mennään metsään! 3.7.-8.8.2010 Galleria Rantakarmissa Suomenlinnassa. Teos on myyty. AiheestaViivoista ja suorakulmioista rakentuvat abstraktiot eivät ole tuotannossani uutta, tein niitä ensimmäisen kerran taideopintojeni aikana vuosina 1983-1986 ja myöhemmin 1980-luvun lopulla, jälkimmäisestä esimerkkinä sarja Ajanmääreitä. Geometristen muotojen rinnalla voin kuitenkin tehdä samanaikaisesti ns. vapaamuotoisia abstraktioita, kuten edellä mainittuna aikana esimerkiksi sarja Pyörö. Myös maisemallisia abstraktioita tuotannossani on ollut aiemminkin, esimerkkeinä 1990-luvun sarjat Lux ja Lux minor. In June 2010 the series Compositions is still to be continued but later new works can be seen at the Web Gallery. The painting was exhibited at the Helsinki Artists' Association's summer exhibition Let's Go to the Woods at Gallery Rantakasarmi in Suomenlinna, Helsinki, during 3.7.-8.8.2010. The painting is sold. About the Matter
Abstractions based on lines and rectangles are nothing new in my production, I made them for the first time during the studies of fine arts in 1983-1986 and later in the end of the 1980's, by way of example the series Definitions of Time. Beside geometrical forms I can make at the same time also so called free abstrations, such as the cotemporal series Turns. Landscape abstractions are familiar from my earlier works as well, by way of example the series Lux and Lux minorfrom the 1990's.
